The heat in Virginia has been brutal this year, which has made most outdoor activities pretty miserable. Our rule of thumb for most sessions, especially in hot months, is to start early (or late) and take things easy. We headed out early with Whitney and Ian for a mosey through the rocks of the river, followed by some more leisurely walking through Forest Hill Park.
