ENGAGED: A Surprisingly Cozy Summer Session in Richmond’s Forest Hill
The heat in Virginia has been brutal this year, which has made most outdoor activities pretty miserable. Our rule of thumb for most sessions, especially in hot months, is to start early (or late) and take things easy. We headed out early with Whitney and Ian for a mosey through the rocks of the river, followed by some more leisurely walking through Forest Hill Park. These two have such a sweet connection that made even a sticky summer morning look cozy. Here are some of our favorites from our time with them.
PROPOSAL: A Proposal Among the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C.
After weeks of strategizing, Whitten proposed to Alli by the Tidal Basin during D.C.’s Cherry Blossom Festival. They’d agreed they’d wait until after Alli finished med school, which Whitten honored to the letter - he waited only about two weeks after her graduation to pop the question. Just in case, Alli had been conveniently getting her nails done and getting dressed up for every outing for several weeks. Here are some favorite images from our time spent together in their first moments being *affianced.*

Emily and Scott got dressed up for a sweet and swanky walk through Richmond’s picturesque Fan neighborhood. Today we’ve shared some of our favorite moments from our time with them, in digital and on film.
